MY FATHER’S HOUSE!! LET ME GO

Gen. 12:1-3 the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

In the above-referenced scripture in Genesis, God told Abram to leave his father’s house. Friends, at times a man’s greatest enemy is from his household. God told Abram to leave his kindred but he took his nephew (Lot) with him and for as long as Lot remained with him God did not do what he intended to do in Abram’s life. Many times we need to separate from Lot before we can experience the move of God in our lives. There are some powers from our father’s house that we need to separate from before certain things can happen in our lives.

Moses was from the house of Levi (Exodus 2:1-2). In Genesis 49: 5-7, we are told that Levi and Simeon are instruments of cruelty and anger. Moses did exploits for God but his anger was the little fox in his life that prevented him from reaching the promised land. What you do not address, you can’t redress. Moses never addressed the anger from his father’s house. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Friends, the righteous can PRAY!!!

In Genesis 38:1 Judah married wrong after which problem started. David was from the house of Judah. Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines! Absalom slept with his father’s wives. Powers of their father’s house!!! (Evil pattern).   In Judges 6:25 God told Gideon to destroy the altars his father had built unto Baal. This is because the altars one’s parents raised to the devil can affect one’s life. In the following scriptures we can see that God visits the iniquities of parents upon children unto the fourth generation. This is why we need to ask God to forgive the sins our parents committed.

Exodus 20:5 – Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me

Deuteronomy 5:9 – Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

In Mark 6:1-5, we are told that Jesus could not do any mighty works because of their unbelief. They kept saying “ …is this not the son of a carpenter?” …Powers of one’s father’s house can keep one in obscurity no matter how talented one is.

Manifestation of Father’s House Problems

1. No matter what your gifts you remain in obscurity

2. Attracting disfavor

3. Inability to get baptized by the Holy Ghost

4. Horrible dreams

5. Uncontrollable immorality

6. Unexplainable marital failures

7. Riches to rags experience

8. Ungodly soul tie

9. Repeated family tragedies

10. Output not equal to input

11. Sickness that defile medical interventions

Way Out

1. Genuine salvation and repentance

2. Total renunciation of those idols

3. Apply prophetic prayers

4. Cut off all umbilical covenants. Connect w/ the covenant of the blood of Jesus

5. Take the keys from the strongman

6. Determine to separate yourself w/ holiness and righteous living

7. Raise a new altar unto the Lord and service that altar regularly w/ praise, worship, offering (Judges 6:26)

Note: Powers of one’s father’s house is an evil pattern. The bible says in the book of Nahum that afflictions shall NOT rise up a second time.

Prayer:
Father God Almighty, visit my foundation with your fire!
I soak my foundation in the blood of Jesus!
Powers of my father’s house, LET ME GO in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
