DELIVERANCE.

This manual explains all the steps to complete your deliverance and achieve God’s aim in the process. DELIVERANCE IS OF THE LORD! If you decide to submit yourself to the Body of Christ with a view to seek deliverance from a problem you suspect is demonic, our advice is not to make such a “big deal” over the event itself.
Few people realize that the biblical model of deliverance is that one must be prepared to be delivered. In this message we will see what the good intentioned, God loving Christians, church leaders and Pastors are overlooking. The message many Christians are missing today is that church dogma, self-discipline, wish and self-knowledge alone is not enough to stop Satan from working and attacking persons and church.
The traditional understanding of a prayer of deliverance is that it is a Holy Word, command and speech which ask the Lord to deliver or save a person from the influence or control of an evil entity, such as a demonic force or a supernatural being. Answering some question honestly will save a lot of time and will help to ensure that successful deliverance is obtainable, even before getting started.
Many times, deliverance minister’s time is wasted because the person seeking deliverance is unprepared. Often times the person go back to pick up those same spirit all over again. It is a waste of time, strength and spiritual energy to deliver an unprepared person and an inactive or un-practicing Christian or someone who is not a born again.
Preparing for deliverance is basically a process of drawing near to God and purifying ourselves from as many sin footholds as possible. Evil spirits and problems use footholds to attempt to keep us in bondage. When the footholds and steps have been removed by confession and repentance, the spirits and problems are less able to resist being expelled. Here are some suggestions for actions to take leading up to the deliverance date:
You can expect resistance (from the evil spirits) to increase as the deliverance date approaches. Like apartment tenants who resist eviction, demons and problems resist deliverance.  Some of the demon’s maneuvers we know of include:
Try to increase your addictive behaviors and urge
Try to increase your emotional conflict and lust
Scare tactics to increase your fear of going through with deliverance
Doubt attacks (thoughts like “You’ll never get free,” or “You won’t be able to have any fun once you are delivered”)
Try to point you into self-destructive behaviors
Lack of peace, fitful sleep, nightmares, etc.
If you reach this point and are under attack, take courage and don’t allow the devil to weaken your resolve to be free of the demonic bondage.  The devil is a defeated foe and knows at this point that he is on the way out.  Your debt was paid and your freedom purchased thousands of years ago by Jesus Christ.  Be encouraged in your faith to persevere and proceed with the deliverance as God directs you.
Remember Psalm 91:14, 15…. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
How Does One Know When He Needs Deliverance?
Deliverance is needed when there is something in a Christian’s life which is not pleasing unto the Lord, and which is persistent. If a person cannot get victory over it, if it is bothersome and damaging to the relationship with the Lord and perhaps to others, I am suggesting to read on and follow the instructions below, which will assist you in obtaining the VICTORY.
It may be the need for deliverance from bad habits; powers which attack the mind; or anything that interferes in one’s life that is not glorifying the Lord; it may be something which holds the person back from growing and developing in the Lord.
Many people do not even know that they need deliverance more than what they think and are prepared for. It is good you know who need deliverance, this will enable you to access yourself the more, to cross check and balance to help you in your preparation and duty.

WAYS TO DETERMINE YOU HAVE EVIL SPIRIT
The presence and nature of evil spirits can be known by two principle methods: First, Discernment as the book of I Cor. 12:10 listed “discerning of spirits” as one of the nine supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit, and Secondly, detection is another method of knowing the presence and nature of evil spirits. Detection is simply observing what spirits are doing to a person (Mark 7:24-30). Some of the most common symptoms of indwelling demons are as follows:
Disturbances in the emotions which persist or recur.
Disturbances in the mind or thought life.
Outbursts or uncontrolled use of the tongue.
Recurring unclean thoughts and acts regarding sex.
Addictions to nicotine, alcohol, drugs, medicines, caffeine, food, fornication, adultery, masturbation, homosexuality, lesbianism, stealing, anger, cheating, weak in praying and reading the Bible, moral error, etc.
Many diseases and physical afflictions are due to spirits of infirmity (Luke 13:11).
Apart from the above it is important you know the meaning of deliverance, because deliverance is more than what many of us think and it is quite different from healing. Deliverance ends all that came from our involvement in deceptive spiritual warfare and deliverance or whatever area that we were previously in ignorance, deception, sin or under storms of life.
Deliverance is a process and it can be instant once the required biblical principles and standard are applied. Deliverance ends any further attacks. The wounds may appear as if deliverance has not occurred but that’s if one does not understand what has taken place in the spirit realm.
Deliverance from the consequences is what is called healing. The attacks brought wounds in our lives in one way or another – spiritually, physically, socially, and materially and so on. Deliverance is very different from healing for we all know that wounds take time to heal depending on the type of quality of food you take, drugs and treatment you take.
What is Deliverance?
It is to close the doors opened to the enemy
It is to damage the works of Satan in your life
It is to undo heavy burdens
It is to break evil yokes
It is to possess one’s possession
It is to escape from every satanic prison
It is to capture back what the enemy has stolen
It is to be victorious in your dreams at all times
It is to serve quit notice on every infirmity
It is to kill every satanic embargo
It is to break every evil covenant
It is to destroy the chains of darkness
It is to break curses and spells
It is to hunt down and destroy destructive habits
It is to send back evil arrows to the senders
It is finding your place in the market square of life
It is the destruction of satanic dreams
It is release from the altars of affliction
It is release from witchcraft cages
It is correct positioning
It is to break the chain of poverty
It is to break the bonds of eating in the dream
It is to tear the foundation of sex dream
Deliverance means to loose the bounds of wickedness.A lot of people are under the bondage of wickedness. If you look at the lives of many people, you will discover a wide array of wicked occurrences. If your life is surrounded by wicked mysterious happenings, you need to go for deliverance as fast as you can.
Deliverance centers on the destruction of the yoke of the enemy. A yoke is anything that hinders or sets you back. Whatever sets you back from moving forward in your life is a yoke. God’s will is that you move forward and attain divine goals set for your life. When the contrary happens, there is a bondage hanging above your life.
Deliverance is to break curses and evil covenants. The ancestors, fathers and mothers of many people were cursed and the curses have flown down the family line. For example, if a person struggles without any tangible achievement in life, there is a problem somewhere.
Deliverance is the spiritual cleansing of an environment. Some people bought or built houses on a land with lots cursed, evil decrees; or spells or live in an apartment building with a co-tenant that is under curses and their lives and family are affected. Unless deliverance is conducted on such persons or families, things will remain negative.
Deliverance is the breaking of satanic chain and ropes that has made fruitfulness or prosperity impossible for people. There is an invisible chain and ropes which has acted as a stubborn barrier between you and your success. A lot of people have tried their possible best for prosperity but nothing has been experienced that can be termed real prosperity.
Deliverance is the removal of invisible loads and burdens laid on people. What many people carry goes beyond just load or burdens of life? Men and women bear burdens that are laid on their life by the kingdom of darkness. When such a burden becomes too heavy (it will always be) people will always be forced to act irrationally
Deliverance is uprooting evil seeds from people’s lives. Unknown to many people like you, evil seeds would have been consumed in the days of ignorance. Such seeds often grow into invisible evil trees in the lives of many people. How can someone succeed in life, if an evil tree has grown in his or her life?
Deliverance is the removal of satanic embargo. In many instances, some people struggle with unseen embargoes. No matter how hardworking you are, you will be working like an elephant but eating like a rat. Success becomes a tale in the life of such a person. One single embargo in your life can keep you in satanic slavery forever.
Deliverance is the release from the power of darkness. Many people are under the bondage of powers of darkness and they don’t know and some know. They are not free to move towards the divine direction. Instead of going forward, they keep going backward. There is every indication that satanic powers have kept them under bondage. It takes deliverance to set you free. Don’t wait another day take a step today.
Deliverance is being set free from compulsive evil habits and actions. There are some people who knowingly or unknowingly often misbehave and cause problems repeatedly in their own lives. If you fall into this group, you need to undergo deliverance.
Deliverance is being set free from habits that enslave. Many people struggle with enslaving habits secretly. Deliverance is the answer.
Deliverance is freedom from stubborn hindrances to spiritual growth. A lot of people (even minister) find it difficult to make necessary spiritual progress. Many people have struggled for years in order to be baptized with the Holy Ghost without success. Of course, demonic bondage will make such spiritual experiences difficult to attain.
Deliverance involves in being completely set free from past witchcraft and occult bondage. A good number of so-called children of God are yet to experience total deliverance from the witchcraft and occult. This kind of deliverance is needed for those who have gone very far with the devil.
Deliverance is being set free from chronic sinful habits. If you are involved one way or the other in any sinful habit whatsoever or any addiction, you need serious deliverance.
Deliverance includes being set free from sickness that defies medical diagnosis. If you have tried every possibilities medically speaking because of sickness and efforts towards getting the best of medical help has yielded no result, you need serious deliverance. Jesus is the greatest doctor I’ve ever seen, He can and will heal you.
Deliverance means being set free from restlessness, mental confusion and other malignant problems. As a child of God, you must not struggle with restlessness, mind blankness and memory failure. If you have experienced such conditions, you need deliverance. Don’t wait another day.
Deliverance is being set free from inexplicable family break ups (divorce) and recurrent squabbles in the family. You were raised by a single parent; and you also end up being a single parent; you have being divorced or going through divorce, you have many children with different fathers, or women. Or your father has children from many women or your mother has children from different men, there are demonic activities in your home. When your marriage is suffering attacks from the spirit called “Home Destroyer”. When your spouse is avoiding his/her responsibilities in marriage/home, you need serious deliverance. Don’t wait another day, seek and get deliverance today.
Deliverance is being set free from the binding power of an evil trend of recurrent family troubles and tragedy. When you count two or three people in your family that have ended up in prison, or suffered from drug addiction, or untimely death, or unexplainable sickness, or rebellious children, or poverty, hard luck, hardship, adultery flow in your bloodline, or failed at the edge of breakthrough. You need serious deliverance, run without delay and seek deliverance.
Deliverance is being set free from mysterious spiritual experiences. If you go through normal channels of prayers, spiritual discipline and application of the Word of God, yet victory is elusive, you need deliverance.
You need to cry unto God for deliverance today. If you have spent your life journey in the wilderness, you need to run to God as fast as your feet can carry you. If you are contemplating quitting this battle of life (suicide), you must go for deliverance as soon as possible.
If you have concluded that you have had more than a fair share of life’s problems, you need to visit the deliverance clinic as soon as possible. If bad luck has continued to trail your life in spite of the fact that you are a child of God, you need deliverance. If you have discovered that the same kind of bondage that is found in the life of any member of your immediate and extended family is visibly present in your life; don’t wait another day, go for deliverance today.
Now that you have known the meaning of deliverance, there are certain requirements that you must meet and preparation you must make if you want to get the best of your deliverance. This are …
ACTIONS TO TAKE LEADING UP TO DELIVERANCE
One must be honest with himself and with God if he expects to receive God’s blessing of DELIVERANCE. Ask God to help you see yourself as He sees you and to bring to light anything that is not of Him (Psalm 32:5; 139:23-24).
Humility involves a recognition that one is dependent upon God and His provisions for DELIVERANCE (James 4:6-7). It also involves a complete openness with God’s servants ministering in the DELIVERANCE (James 5:16).
Repentance is a determined turning away from sin and Satan (Amos 3:3). One must hate his sins (Ezekiel 20:43).
Renunciation is the forsaking of evil and it is action resulting from repentance (Matt. 3:7-8). If one has repented of religious error, he may need to completely renounce it by destroying all literature and items associated with that error (Acts 19:18-19).
God freely forgives all who confess their sins and ask forgiveness through His Son (I John 1:9). He expects us to forgive all others who have ever wronged us in any way (Matt. 6:14-15). Willingness to forgive is absolutely essential to DELIVERANCE (Matt. 18:21-35).
In prayer ask God to deliver you and set you free in the name of JESUS (Joel 2:32).
Prayer and warfare are two separate and distinct activities. Our warfare against demon powers is not fleshly but spiritual (Eph. 6:10-12 ; II Cor. 10:3-5). Use the weapons of submission to God, the blood of JESUS CHRIST, the Word of God, and your testimony as a Believer (James 4:7; Rev. 12:11; Eph. 6:17). CHRIST cannot fail! He is the Deliverer (Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19; Psalm 18:2)!
The individual has to recognize the bondage or obstacle,  and to really admit that something is wrong, bad or sinful etc.
One has to sincerely want to be delivered and genuinely willing to surrender that which is connected with it.
Confessing and Professing, I mean, speaking out sins and receiving cleansing by asking the Lord. Turning away from sin and sinful living.
Studying God’s word, as one would do for an exam, or as learning the rules of an Olympic game, meditate on it and seek the Lord’s face.
Perhaps, fasting as desired.
Applying God’s promises to one’s life and obey the scriptures. There are also obligations to the Lord, which often are overlooked…… If you obey My word, I will listen to you and answer…..
Building up one’s faith and do not waver, because without faith we cannot please the Father.
Professing with the mouth that which is written for the believers, quoting the scriptures and even reminding the Lord about His own word.
Expecting the MOST from the Lord, expecting the IMPOSSIBLE from Him.
Finding a reliable source; dedicated believers and followers of Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit, to assist with the steps to be taken toward deliverance. This process may require the laying on of hands and/or casting out demons.
Walking in the direction of your prayers, believing that it will be answered.
Confess & repent from the sin as you are able. Note that demonized persons sometimes experience a “blocking” effect when trying to renounce past sin (especially occult sin). Manifestations may include difficulty in speaking, severe distraction and/or severe exhaustion.  If these occur, take note of the sin area you are attempting to deal with and inform your deliverance team of what you are encountering.
Ask sincere Christians to pray for you as often as possible.  Prayer cover is something that will help you maintain some semblance of peace as you approach the deliverance session date.
Saturate your mind with the word of God daily as you draw near to the deliverance session. Load the word into your mind through daily devotion Bible studies, scripture memory/meditation and scripture tapes/CD.
Surround yourself and your home with atmosphere of praise & worship.
Daily prayers for peace, protection and victory:  Examples: Binding evil spirits influencing you & loosing God’s peace and deliverance; Pleading the blood of Jesus over you and your mind.
Fast:  Fasting strengthens your spirit and brings your body into submission to your spirit.
Ready For Deliverance? What To Look For
As ministers, it is important to be able to recognize situations where a person is not prepared to receive deliverance. Here are some important guidelines to keep in mind when seeing if they are ready to receive and maintain their deliverance:
1 Are You a Born Again Christian? If you are not a Born Again Christian, do not even think of a deliverance session unless the Holy Spirit specifically tells you otherwise. Casting demons out of non-Born Again Christian -believers is unwise as those spirits can come back 7 times worse.
2 Are they prepared to give up anything necessary to receive and maintain your deliverance? Every now and then, we see people who are simply seeking deliverance so that their problems will go away, but they are not willing to give up ungodly things in their life to receive and maintain their deliverance. For example, one person came to me asking for help, but was not willing to stop living a lifestyle of fornication.
If you are not willing to give up things in your life that are giving demonic spirits legal grounds, then you are not worthy of or prepared to receive the children’s bread (deliverance). Those demons have a right to be there, and many times you will be unable to get those spirits to dislodge. Even if you do cast them out, they can come right back because they have permission to be there.
3 Are you willing to seek a close walk with the Lord and spend time with Him each day after your deliverance, so that you can maintain your deliverance? After a person receives deliverance, it is important to note that demons often like to re-approach that person, and if they are not on their guard, those spirits would love to coax the person to let them back in. If they aren’t spending time with God and cultivating their relationship with Him, they will give in much easier (either knowingly or unknowingly) and those spirits could re-gain their access.
4 Are you prepared to meditate on Bible verses and work hard to keep strongholds torn down? In many cases, it is vital for you to renew your mind (including tearing down strongholds) before you are able to walk in complete freedom. This can take time out of your daily lives, and you must be willing to follow through with this if you want to make the most of your deliverance. Demons do not only work to build strongholds in our minds, but they also thrive on them and even use them to re-enter people! Strongholds are very powerful and are a tool in the enemy’s weaponry… we must be ready to take this tool out of his hands!
5 Are you willing to communicate everything in your past with your minister so that you can identify any issues that must be worked on in order for that your deliverance to be effective? Sometimes people are unwilling to tell anybody about something they’ve done in their past because it is so embarrassing. This is a trap that the devil uses to keep a person from breaking free. There will be no forgiveness for any deliberate un-confess sin.
It is important to be able to trust the minister with whom you are sharing your past, but on the other hand it is also a very important step in the deliverance process. There are many things that a knowledgeable minister can pick up on when they hear a person’s past. That is how we usually discover strongholds, legal grounds and even the type of demons or demon groupings that are present. Knowing this helps us effectively go forth and minister to that person.

6 You must be ready to let go of their demon(s). Some people like holding onto their demons because of the pleasure, power, favour and influence that spirit(s) may bring them. For example, sex demon, spirit husband or spirit wife (incubus or succubus) may bring a woman much sexual pleasure, influence and favour, and therefore she does not want to give it up, yet she wants to delivered from the problems that it is causing in her life and sometimes in her marriage. If a person is not willing to give up a spirit, then there is little we can do to help them.
I must also caution that though a person is struggling in an area of their life, it does not mean they are not sincere and ready to receive deliverance. It is important to discern whether they are prepared to receive deliverance or not, as there will be times when a person cannot stop masturbating or cannot stop lusting, lying, cheating and yet they want so badly to be set free from those bondages. Just because they cannot stop falling in that area, does not mean they are not sincere. It can mean that the spirit has such a grip on them that they are put under so much pressure to give in, that they can barely keep themselves from giving in.
Take for example a spirit of rebellion. It will cause a person to take up a very rebellious personality. On the other hand, if they are wanting to be set free from that, then they are most likely ready for deliverance, but if they enjoy their rebellion and refuse to give it up, then I question whether or not they are ready.
The same is true with spirits of lust, addiction, etc., if they realize the bondage they are in and want to be set free, and then I would move forward with the deliverance. But if they tell me that they enjoy their addiction and lusting and are not willing to give it up, then it’s not time to move forward (unless the Holy Spirit directs otherwise).

Remember, God’s Word is a LOVE LETTER to you.
2 Peter 2:9….The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgement.
Colossians 1:13…. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.
Out of man’s misery, the Lord can create something beautiful. That, which is impossible with man, is possible with God. We only see as far as our nose, the Lord has a wide view and sees beyond the hills. We tend to focus on our limitations, but God is unlimited eyes and knowledge
The Lord does not need our abilities to get things done, but He desires our surrendered will. When we read a book, all we see are words, but when we read His promises, allowing it to saturate, they can become alive and sustain us. His word has the POWER to heal, deliver, conquer and refresh our soul and heal our body.
