THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE.

The Weapons of our Warfare…
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” (II Corinthians 10:4-6)

 Revelation 12:7-11 – Speaks of the war of heaven; Michael vs. the dragon.
 Isaiah 13:3-5 – Speaks of the gathering of the Army of the Lord.
 Joel 2:2-11 – Speaks of the great and terrible Army of the Lord.
 II Timothy 2:3-4 – Speaks of God choosing us to be soldiers.

The Church is to train believers in spiritual warfare. God has provided for every born-again believer an ARSENAL OF WEAPONS to be used in prayer. These include:

1. THE WORD OF GOD.

(It is to be learned, studied and memorized.)

 The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. Ephesians 6:17
 Jesus casts out spirits with His Word and heals all. Matthew 8:16
 Healing and deliverance via God’s Word. Psalm 107:20
 Continue in His Word and the truth will set you free. John 8:31-32
 The Word of God is quick, powerful and sharp. Hebrews 4:12-13
 You are strong, and the Word of God abides in you. I John 2:14

2. THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
 We are overcomers by the Blood of the Lamb. Revelation 12:11
 The Blood of Christ purges our conscience from dead works; His Blood represents evil’s annihilation and Christ’s victory. Hebrews 9:14 –
 God’s hidden wisdom in the cross. I Corinthians 2:7-8
 God’s wisdom in the Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 1:22-24

3. THE NAME OF JESUS.
 “In my name shall you cast out devils,” Jesus said. Mark 16:27
 Jesus emptied Himself. Therefore, every knee shall bow. Philippians 2:5-11
 The excellent Name of Jesus Hebrews 1:4
 Deliverance from divination by the Name of Jesus. • Acts 16:18
 Devils are subject unto us through the name of Jesus. • Luke 10:17

4. POWER OF THE SPIRIT.
 Casting out devils by the Spirit of God• -Matthew 12:28
 Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost and with power. • -Acts 10:38
 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon me …and has anointed me” -Luke 4:18-19
 Greater is He that is in you. -I John 4:1-7
 The yoke is broken because of the anointing.• -Isaiah 10:27
 The Spirit of the LORD shall life up a standard against the flood of the enemy. – Isaiah 59:19
 “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.” – Zechariah 4:6
 Be filled with the Spirit. Be ready. -Ephesians 5:17-18

5. THE AUTHORITY OF GOD.
 The saints are given power and authority. Luke 10:17-18
 Jesus gives power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases. Luke 9:1 –
 Jesus gives power to his disciples against unclean spirits and to heal all manner of sickness. • Matthew 10:1
 Power given to heal sickness and cast out devils. • Mark 3:13-15
 Authority to resist the devil. • James 4:7
 Resisting the devil• I Peter 5:8-9
 Quiet use of authority. • Isaiah 31:4
 Authority to bind and loose. Matthew 16:19
 Authority to bind and loose on earth; done in heaven. • Matthew 18:18
 Binding the strongman. Matthew 12:29
 Authority to trample and tread over the enemy’s power. • Luke 10:19
 “The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet.” • Romans 16:20 –
 Trampling on the dragon, etc. • Psalm 91:13-14 –
 Treading down the wicked under the soles of your feet. • Malachi 4:3 –
 Treading down the enemy. Zechariah 10:5 –
 Authority is total!!! Matthew 8:8-9

6. PRAYER AND FASTING.
 This kind comes out only by prayer and fasting. Mark 9:28-29 –

7. WORSHIP AND PRAISE.
 God dwells in the midst of our worship and praise.
 The LORD fights the battle in the midst of singing and praise. II Chronicles 20
8. SILENCE.
 There is victory in silence; free of grumbling and murmuring.
 In quietness and confidence shall be your strength. • Isaiah 30:15 –
 Quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. • Lamentations 3:26 –
 “…take heed and be quiet…”• Isaiah 7:1-4
Warfare is a battle of life or death. God has provided us with an Arsenal of Weapons to be used against him (Satan), who has already been defeated, that we might see the manifestation of God’s victory.
(Mark down the date of this Deliverance in your Bible as a reminder to you and the spirit realm that you are set free!)
